Special Programs

North Brentwood's government, the state and community groups foster Town programs.

There's always something interesting to do, for all age groups: from parents' night out, to teen activities, senior gatherings, and family events, such as holiday celebrations and North Brentwood Day (Town anniversary).

Below are just a few of our ongoing programs benefiting citizens, and making North Brentwood the kind of Town that inspires neighbors to support each other.

Free: SHARE Food Network

Our Town is a SHARE Food site.

For a FREE monthly food package, call Martha at 301.699.9699  x1223

The Town pays for these valued food packages using  American Rescue Plan funds. SHARE Food Network is part of Self Help and Resource Exchange, a 200-organization network of nonprofit community-building to: provide nutritious food to families and individuals at a reduced cost; promote volunteer service; and build partnerships with local groups.

Little Free Tree House Library

4505 39th Place

Borrow a book...put in a book to share with the neighborhood.

Borrow and share books at North Brentwood's Little Free Tree House Library

This Free Library program is a great way to recycle books, share good-reads with others and build a literacy-friendly neighborhood. Share: the more books, the better (but nothing inappropriate). There are books for all ages.

Return the book when you’ve finished reading it or give it to a friend. Our goal is to keep the library stocked with old, new and classic books.
