NBCA plays a large role in our Town, including sponsoring events (e.g., Family Day, Halloween, North Brentwood Day, and more). Annual membership is only $15 per household. Join or renew today!
Monthly meetings on second Monday, at 6:30 pm, at the North Brentwood Community Center.

Good environmental practices save money and improve lives! The Green Team offers education and programs, e.g., community gardens, storm water management, and pet waste stations. The Team (which is seeking Sustainable Maryland certification) works with the Mayor and State to secure funding for environmental projects.

Maryland Black Mayors (MBM)

MBM provides best practices info, programs, partnerships, and tech support to Black Mayors across MD.
Member mayors share resources to address issues unique to diverse communities in areas of: economic development, youth, educational, political and other citizen concerns
Many of North Brentwood’s college-bound students have benefited from MBM’s annual scholarship.

PG County Municipal Association helps municipal leaders work together, to benefit the residents of 27 PG municipalities. It brings county and local leaders together to resolve issues, and develop and manage legislation (e.g., climate change efforts and wireless infrastructure).
PGCMA is one of nine regional chapters of the Maryland Municipal League, which collaborates with all levels of state and local government.

Mayor Robinson is a MML member. The nonpartisan association is run by public sector officials, working to strengthen government via advocacy and leadership training. As a National National League of Cities member, MML offers: urban research, DC legislative representation, and national municipal info exchange.
MML offers job and volunteer opportunities for non-members, and a shadowing program for students.
