North Brentwood Civic Association
NBCA plays a large role in our Town. It supports residents, sponsors events (e.g., Family Day, Halloween, North Brentwood Day, and more). Annual membership is only $15 per household. Join or renew today!
Meetings are held the 2nd Monday each month, at 6:30 pm, at the North Brentwood Community Center.

Green environmental practices save money and improve lives! The Green Team offers education and programs, e.g., storm water management, community gardens and pet waste stations. The Team (which is seeking Sustainable MD certification) works with the Mayor and State to secure funding for environmental projects.

Get involved! Attend Town Council Meetings, and explore committees and organizations to join: NBCA, the Historical Society, North Brentwood Seniors Club, the Green Team, the Emergency Response Team, the Pet Summit, and committees for special events (e.g., BLM march).

Prince George’s County Municipal Association helps municipal leaders work together, to benefit the residents of 27 municipalities, PG County and the state. It brings county and local leaders together to resolve issues, and develop and manage legislation and programs. (e.g., climate change initiatives and wireless infrastructure).
PGCMA is one of nine regional chapters of the Maryland Municipal League, which collaborates with all levels of state and local government.

Mayor Robinson is a member of MML. The nonprofit, nonpartisan association is run by local governments, working to strengthen municipal government via advocacy and leadership development. As a member of the National League of Cities, MML offers legislative representation in DC, urban research programs, and a national municipal government information exchange.
MML offers job and volunteer opportunities For non-members, and a shadowing program for students.

MBM provides best practices info, programming, partnerships, and technical support to Black Mayors throughout the state.
Member mayors address economic development, youth, educational, political and other citizen concerns, by empowering leaders to share resources and impact issues unique to diverse communities. Many of North Brentwood’s college-bound students have benefited from MBM’s annual scholarship.
