The MSAC Grants for Artists program provides $6000 to working artists on a rolling basis. DEADLINE: Feb. 1, 2023 (Round 1) / April 1, 2023 (Round 2). SUPPORT PERIOD: Feb. 1 - June 30, 2023.
The Grants program provides financial support and recommended, MSAC-supported professional development offerings, tailored to meet the needs of artists working in various genres and media.
Types of support include but are not limited to:
● Grant funding
● Professional development sessions customized by genre
● Tailored technical assistance from MSAC for navigating MSAC and other funding opportunities
● Other networking and mentoring opportunities
The purpose of the Grants for Artists program is to contribute to the sustainability of artists’ livelihoods by providing funds that support working or living expenses.
