Mosquito Control 2026 in
Town of North Brentwood

North Brentwood is participating in the cooperative mosquito control program with the Maryland Department of Agriculture this year!

  • Larviciding (spraying) runs through September/early October

  • Once per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.

  • Having mosquito issues? Call 301. 422-5080.

A few facts:

  • The Dept of Agriculture is unable to spray when temperatures are over 90 degrees, if winds are above 10 mph, or if it's raining.

  • The comprehensive program manages the mosquito population from larvae to adult stages. Read the letter sent to homeowners.

  • The chemical (Permanone 30130) used to spray via ultra high volume air and poses very little threat to most people and pets.

  • This formulation is at the lowest possible toxicity level possible still effective in the control of adult mosquitoes. It's an EPA-approved chemical solution used for the past 10 years.
